Well, the whirlwind week in Pennsylvania has passed. I'm just getting back into the swing of things here in Boulder. The gallery show in Johnstown at the Bottle Works Art Center was a great success! After an intense summer of finishing the new collection, prepping everything to be photographed in Philadelphia and then heading to Johnstown for the gallery show, the opening night was a perfect way to celebrate all of that intensity! People came out of the woodwork-- former teachers, neighbors, family, friends and strangers...the response to the show was beautiful and (a bit) overwhelming. It was so nice to show my work in the town where I was raised-- and to unveil the new collection! (If you didn't see it in Johnstown, it will be up on the website soon, I promise!)
