I'm back from India-- it was amazing, intense, chaotic and grand. I'll post more soon. Until then, above is a photo of some freshly dyed yarn at Khamir, an NGO near Bhuj, India that works with local artisans to provide a platform for resources, education, and entrepreneurship. The bottom photo is of an artisan (on the left) and a chemist working out some intense equations for some natural dyes. How great is that?!
This is seriously the FIRST thing I shall purchase when I pay off my last credit card :)
